Why Astrological Patterns of History are Important
There are many astrological patterns anyone can find, but certain ones stand out over others. I am working on a book that covers a particular pattern that began in 1398 and ended in 1893. This period is based on the longitudinal alignment between Neptune and Pluto, a 492 year event. In over four years of work I have determined that laying history and astrology side-by-side offers insights that are unique to the effort. More than anything, the work I have done so far proves that astrology can and does offer a very useful perspective that the world has barely touched.
What I have found most interesting are the patterns within patterns. By using the same concepts found in the lunar phases, the Neptune-Pluto duo yields a constellation of connections that mirror developments in history. The most obvious example can be seen at the halfway point of the Neptune-Pluto cycle, akin to the monthly full Moon. This point in history works out to be near 1648 when many aspects of world history changed direction. The details are best saved for later, but the important point here is that at the other "phases" of the Neptune-Pluto cycle the elements of change that forced history in new direction were omnipresent and acting in accordance to standard astrological principles. The last point surprised me the most as I did not expect to see something complicated as the combination of history and astrology to be expressed in such a basic concept.
Of course, that which seems simple, like gravity, often requires a complex explanation. But it is one worth every effort. The reason the effort is worth the time is that understanding how the movements of planets coincide with historical change gives historians an extra tool to monitor history with less cultural bias. A the little bit of time spent in understanding astrological concepts and how they apply to history yields results I have not seen in any historiographies. Once mastered I am certain that anyone can begin to see history in terms of how the planets interacted as I have begun to.
It should be known that I am working on a book on the subject; I do have a selfish need for publishing this blog. Rest assured that I do not expect to make a ton of money on this effort. It is near to my heart and worth all the work applied so far. The book, as stated above only covers a period roughly equivalent to the sapn between the Renaissance and the Victorian Age. Obviously, this is but a small piece of history; later efforts will expand to other Neptune-Pluto timespans. You can see my (always incomplete) effort at http://www.worlodeek.net/APH. Others have touched on similar efforts, particularly Palden Jenkins, whose work can be seen here: http://www.isleofavalon.co.uk/GlastonburyArchive/ephem/ea-index.html.
I understand I have 'lot of splaining to do'. The proof will come as the work nears completion. But I need your help. Hopefully, some will have the patience to help me see this effort through.
